RTX Cubefield » Devlog
Added:
- Random colors to starting cubes (beginnings of random level generation)
- Game over screen
- New game button (so no more refreshing the browser window to play a new game)
- Scoring (pretty similar to OG scoring. May need some tweaking to be more accurate. Currently multiplying seconds alive * 2000. Keep in mind the "Top Score" is just for show right now.)
- Pausing (Press P or Escape)
- Restarting while in-game (Press R)
- Improved Fog
Notes:
The next big part of this project is working on complete random level generation. This will be the hardest part of the project (besides maybe dealing with Quaternion rotations lmao). When I have completed a functioning random level generator, we will be moving on to the Beta stage of Clonefield/RTX Cubefield. In the Beta stage, I'll focus on fine tuning the random generation and RTX-ifying the game. See you in the next update!
